Internal thread cutting process
As part of the project for manufacturing a press cylinder sleeve, we faced the task of drilling end mounting holes and cutting M42X3 threads.
To solve this problem, we used a portable CNC milling machine.
One of the advantages of our portable equipment is the ability to process surfaces in different planes and hard-to-reach places, at our own production facility and on-site (the customer's production base). We took advantage of this advantage and placed the mobile milling machine on the production site and performed the process of cutting internal threads on the sleeve flange.
