U-shaped fork ear forging is a core mechanical connection and load-bearing component, with a "U" shape and usually symmetrical pin holes at both ends. As a high-end customized forging, it is designed and manufactured to meet the high strength, high reliability, and long life requirements of specific equipment under extreme working conditions. The product is formed using advanced forging technology, with continuous and complete metal flow lines inside, and has comprehensive mechanical properties far exceeding those of castings and ordinary machined parts. It is a key load-bearing component in the "joint" parts of heavy equipment.

Core materials and grades

According to different application environments and mechanical performance requirements, we use a variety of high-quality alloy steels for customized production. The main material grades include:

High strength alloy structural steel:

42CrMo: The most commonly used high-end grade, with extremely high strength, good toughness, and fatigue resistance, suitable for critical parts that can withstand heavy loads and impact loads.
35CrMo: slightly lower in strength than 42CrMo, but better in toughness and plasticity, suitable for components that can withstand alternating loads and moderate impacts.
40Cr: With excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and high cost-effectiveness, it is suitable for general heavy-duty working conditions.

Steel for special environments:

A350 LF2: Low temperature forged steel with excellent low-temperature impact toughness, specifically designed for deep cold environments such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) and low-temperature storage tanks.

Stainless steel series (such as 304, 316): used in environments such as food, chemical, or marine that require high corrosion resistance.
All raw materials are sourced from well-known steel mills both domestically and internationally, and are accompanied by strict incoming chemical composition and ultrasonic testing to ensure quality from the source.

Product specifications and customization capabilities

This product is fully customized production, with specifications and parameters determined entirely based on customer drawings and technical requirements, and has extremely high design flexibility.

Main specification range:

Bearing part diameter/width: usually Ø 50mm - Ø 500mm (can be exceeded according to demand).
U-shaped opening size: customized according to the thickness of the paired components, with an accuracy of ± 0.5mm.
Pin hole diameter: Ø 20mm - Ø 300mm, can be matched with various precision grades (H7, H8, etc.) and keyway, oil groove for processing.
Individual weight: ranging from a few kilograms to several tons.

Customized core elements:

Geometric shape: supports complex designs such as asymmetric, irregular cross-sections, and special reinforcement ribs.
Heat treatment status: We can provide quenching and tempering (quenching+tempering), normalizing+tempering and other states to ensure that the hardness, strength and toughness indicators specified by the customer are achieved.
Machining allowance: We can provide different delivery states from black skin forgings to semi precision machining and full precision machining.
