Pipe flange welding
The importance of flange and pipe connection
In the connection between flanges and pipes, the assembly quality directly affects the strength, tightness, and concentricity of the entire pipeline after welding.
Therefore, ensuring strict alignment between the flange center and the pipe center, and maintaining the vertical state of the sealing surface, is extremely important for the strength, tightness, and concentricity of the entire pipeline.
Assemble flat welded flanges and pipes
When assembling flat welding flanges and pipes, first insert the flange into the pipe end and leave a certain distance between the pipe mouth and the flange sealing surface, usually about 1.5 times the thickness of the pipe wall.
Next, perform multiple spot welding, aligning with flange bending or angle gauges, and spot welding at different positions. During the installation process, multiple spot welding and internal and external welding are performed according to the pressure level to increase its stability.
