Ribbed Aluminum Plate/Sheet are the most widely used non-ferrous metal materials in industry and have been widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobiles, machinery manufacturing, ships, construction, decoration and chemical industries.

We have completed a series of studies on the friction stir welding mechanical properties of reinforced aluminum alloy materials, including pure aluminum, duralumin, forged aluminum, cast aluminum super duralumin and aluminum-lithium alloy materials.

For heat treatment strengthened aluminum alloys (such as 6082-T6, 2219-T87 and 7075-T7351, etc.), the lowest value of joint strength generally appears on the advancing side near the weld nugget area. After post-weld solid solution heat treatment, the performance of the joint can be restored and reinforcement. For 7000 series super duralumin and armored aluminum alloys, the strength of the joint can be further improved through natural aging.
