Hydraulic cylinder grinding tube

The grinding cylinder tube, also known as the grinding tube, is a high-precision seamless steel pipe material made through cold drawing or hot rolling processes. The chemical composition includes elements such as carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, chromium, etc. Common materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, and other materials.

The hydraulic cylinder grinding tube has no oxide layer on its inner and outer walls, can withstand high pressure without leakage, has high precision (ellipticity ≤ 0.01mm), high smoothness (surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.08 µ m), and cold bending without deformation characteristics.

The pipe is processed by rolling to achieve chip free forming, and a cold work hardening layer is formed on the surface through metal plastic deformation, which increases fatigue strength by 30%. At the same time, residual compressive stress can seal small cracks to enhance wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Compared to seamless steel pipes, the grinding tube has a smaller outer diameter and higher cold drawing accuracy, with stricter control of inner and outer wall tolerances.

Hydraulic cylinder grinding pipes are mainly used in the fields of hydraulic systems (machine tools, excavator cylinders), pneumatic components, petrochemical pipelines, and aerospace equipment manufacturing. The tensile strength of 27SiMn alloy structural steel after quenching and tempering treatment is ≥ 980MPa, suitable for the manufacturing of high-pressure oil cylinders.
