XW5 mold steel is a cold work tool steel and has the following characteristics and uses:

XW5 chemical composition:

Carbon C: 2.05

Silicon Si : 0.30

Manganese Mn: 0.80

Chromium Cr: 12.70

Tungsten W: 1.1

XW5 factory condition: soft annealed to 240HB

Features: High hardness: XW5 mold steel has high hardness, and good cutting performance and wear resistance can be obtained through appropriate heat treatment.

High strength: This mold steel has high strength and can withstand large impact loads and extrusion forces.

Good wear resistance: XW5 mold steel has excellent wear resistance, can resist friction and wear, and extend the service life of the mold.

Good heat resistance: This mold steel can maintain a certain hardness and strength at higher temperatures and adapt to high-temperature working environments. Usage:

XW5 mold steel is mainly used in the following fields and applications: Cold stamping molds: suitable for manufacturing cold stamping molds with large impact loads, such as automotive parts, electronic components, etc.

Stamping mold: suitable for manufacturing mold parts that require high hardness and wear resistance in the stamping process. Plastic molds: Due to its high hardness and wear resistance, XW5 mold steel can also be used in manufacturing plastic injection molds, etc.
